Sharon Lee (Garrett) Haugh, 70, of Dennison passed away on January 25, 2021 at Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, surrounded by her family.
Sherry was born at Twin City Hospital in Dennison on July 13, 1950 to the late Donald Sr. and Shirley (Stull) Garrett. She attended the Gnadenhutten High School and then went on to be a caregiver for various places around the area. On November 28, 1970, she married the late Randall D. Haugh, with whom she spent almost 35 years with before his passing on July 9, of 2005. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed taking trips to Roger’s Flea Market.
She is survived by four children: Stacy (Butch) Goudy of Midvale, Dawnann Turnbull (Companion Rick Wares) of Canton, Regina Wires of Carrolton, and Randy Jr. (Abby) Haugh of Sherrodsville; ten grandchildren: Jimmy, Michelle, and Justin Hayhurst, Lacey Smith, Cyndi Wright, Cole and Cassidy Butler, Zachary, Joshua, and Gabriella Haugh; twelve great-grandchildren, three siblings: Donald Jr. (Andi) Garrett of Massillon, Teresa (Donald) Sanders of New Philadelphia, and Lisa (Craig) Quillen of Mawmee; her companion of many years, Larry Burdette, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, Sherry is preceded in death by a baby granddaughter Ashley Dawn Turnbull and an infant great-niece Kalyana Lee-Ann Latham.
Services for Sherry will be private and following her wishes cremation will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday May 1, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Gnadenhutten-Clay Union Cemetery.
