Rhonda Ann Colvin, 54, of Moundsville, West Virginia died on Tuesday morning September 21, 2021, in WVU Wheeling Hospital following a brief illness that took its toll on the rest of her body.
Rhonda was born in Union Hospital in Dover on December 15, 1966. She then lived in various places in the area while growing up and ended up graduating from New Philadelphia High School. She attended different churches throughout the years, looking for just the right fit. Rhonda enjoyed watching movies and crocheting blankets, and the occasional video game of Harvest Moon.
She is survived by her two sons: Brandon (Keri) Raber of Baltic, and Cody (Sandy) Raber of Dennison, six grandchildren: Travis, Thomas, and Taylor Raber, and Josh, Byron, and Suesanna Shank, a brother Tom (Linda) Colvin and many other extended family and friends.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Christina Colvin who adopted her when she was five, after the passing of her mother Virginia Haney Gaten. She is also preceded by a sister Cathy Colvin and an infant brother Carl.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Koch Funeral Home of Gnadenhutten, 244 N. Walnut St. Gnadenhutten, Ohio 44629. A service will take place at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 P.M. and burial will follow at West Union Cemetery in Gilmore.
