Myra Lee Moore, 75, of Columbus died unexpectedly at her home on Sunday morning of September 26, 2021. She was born in Wooster, Ohio to the late Myron E. and Ruth E. (South) Moore on May 13, 1946. Myra graduated from Jewett High School in 1964, then went on to attend business school in Columbus. After college, she went to work for the Ohio Newspaper Association (ONA), retiring in 2000 after more than thirty years of service. Myra enjoyed bowling and golf in her younger years. In her retirement, Myra was an avid reader and enjoyed spending her time sewing, knitting, and loving her cats.
Surviving are a son Todd Moore of Jewett, a niece Michele (James) Gustin of Chicago, Illinois, a nephew Jeremy (Darla) Moore of Jewett, great-nephews: Dylan (Amber) Moore of New Philadelphia, Dustyn (Janelle) Moore of Wintersville, Jabyn (Makayla) Moore of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and Ian Gustin of Chicago.
A family gathering will take place at Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain, Ohio on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.
