Linda K. (Wells) Glauser

          Linda K. (Wells) Glauser, 73, of Gnadenhutten, died the evening of January 2, 2019 at New Dawn Nursing Home under the care of Crossroads Hospice of NE Ohio and surrounded by her family. Linda was born in Freeport, Ohio on July 15, 1945 to the late C. Vernon and Helen B. (McKibben) Wells. She graduated from Freeport High School in 1963. Linda was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife most of her life, tending to the duties of the farm and children. Linda was an avid reader, sometimes reading for hours at a time and even late into the night. She also enjoyed working on crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and sewing and crocheting. She attended the Freeport Presbyterian Church.

          On July 19, 1974, Linda married Walter Glauser, to whom she was married for forty one years before Walt passed on March 23, 2016.

          Surviving are children; Dawn (Ty) Bricker of Uhrichsville, Scott (companion Shellie) Glauser of New Philly, and Tammi Glauser of Gnadenhutten, step-children; Dorothy Anderson of Dover, Tim (Teresa) Glauser of Port Washington, Bea (Bob) Donato of McDonald, Mark (fiancé Carol Jones) Glauser of Gnadenhutten, Sandi (Lainard) Gray of Tippecanoe, and Kim Jackson of Gnadenhutten, nineteen grandchildren, twenty nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, siblings; Bob (companion Mary Schull) Wells of Gnadenhutten, Betty (Bob) McConnell of Tippecanoe, and Larry (Shirley) Wells of Freeport, and best friends Judy Luyster and Pat Laporte.

          Also preceding are a great-great grandson Trevan, sister-in-law Shirley Wells, and a close friend Janice Hogan.

          Services for Linda will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Koch Funeral Home of Gnadenhutten, 244 North Walnut Street, Gnadenhutten, Ohio 44629, with Pastors Bob Donato and Jim McConnell officiating. Burial will follow in Gnadenhutten-Clay Union Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 4 PM to 8 PM also at the funeral home.
