Kaliesha Cale, 43, of Newcomerstown, died unexpectedly early Wednesday morning after a vehicle crash on a rural road outside of Newcomerstown.
She was born in Columbus on July 19, 1980, to the late George C. Cale and Karen Sue Higgens. Kaliesha graduated from Beechcroft High School in 1997. She enjoyed playing card games, coloring, watching Horror shows, riding motorcycles, and hanging out with her family and grandbabies. She worked for the Touraine Club in Newcomerstown as a bartender until its closure, then she went to work for Tony’s and the Moose.
Surviving are three children: Ravan Cale (Kole Carpenter) of Newcomerstown, Donna (Walker) Works of Louisville, and Donnie Sorbara of Newcomerstown; two grandchildren: Alexander Carpenter and Ivory Works, stepmother Diana Cale-Bache, and three siblings: Tasha Cale of Uhrichsville, Tarrian Cale of Marion, and Malcolm Cale of California.
Kaliesha was preceded in death by her parents and Mother-in-law Debbie Cornwell.
Calling hours and a funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Koch Funeral Home of Gnadenhutten. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Mike Kennedy officiating, then the family will receive friends following the service until 4:00 P.M.
