Victoria Jean (Neibert) Friel, 70, of Gnadenhutten, passed away Friday morning of October 6, 2023, at Riverside Manor in Newcomerstown following an extended illness.

She was born in Dover to the late David and Frieda (Muehlhoffer) Neibert on June 4, 1953. Victoria graduated from Dover High School in 1971. She became a housewife in 1973 when she married the late William "Bill" Friel. They were married for forty-seven years before his death on February 18, 2020. Victoria enjoyed watching tv, walking around town, and attending country music concerts.

Surviving are three children: Jason Friel, Thomas Friel, and Jill (Tim) Bickford all of Gnadenhutten; four grandchildren: Izabella and Alixandra Patterson, and Blake and Brynn Bickford; four siblings: Angie Neibert, Cindy Patterson, Patricia (Wes) Fendrich, and Mike Neibert; and many nieces and nephews.

Victoria is only preceded in death by her parents and husband.

There will be calling hours for Victoria on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. at Koch Funeral Home of Gnadenhutten, 244 N.
