Nancy C. (Irwin) Jones, 81, of Gnadenhutten died at her home on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 under hospice care. She was born July 25, 1935 in Cambridge, Ohio to the late Frank and Iva J. (Dillehay) Irwin. Nancy attended Newcomerstown High School, and worked as a secretary for various businesses throughout her life. She retired from the Woodcreek Home Association in Seattle, Washington in the late 1990's. Nancy and her husband, Marvin, then moved back to Ohio to be closer to family. She enjoyed fishing with Marvin, riding around in her golf cart, and being part of the Jimmy Swaggert SBN Ministries. Nancy and Marvin were wed in 1987 and were married for twenty five years before Marvin died on August 5, 2011.

Nancy was mother to Cathy (Roger) Hindman of Gnadenhutten, and Thomas Allen West (dec.), step-mother to Greg (Marion) Jones of Oregon Pamela (Gary) Stewart of Oregon, Shelley (Paul) Liddiard of Canada, and Marvin Jones of Canada, a grandmother to Trisha (Michael) Cox Mounts, and Thomas Richard Cox (dec.2014), great-grandmother to Raina and Micha Mounts, and Mason David Cox, and loving owner of Smokey.

Also preceding Nancy in death are three sisters Sue Silverthorn, Mickey Phillips and Edna Fortney, and four brothers William, Jack, John, and Donald Irwin.
