Myrtle Leanna Phillips Mauderly, age 73, of Coshocton, formerly of Gnadenhutten died Friday evening in Coshocton Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Coshocton, Ohio. She was born in Freeport, Ohio on December 20, 1939 to the late Wilburt Bryan Phillips and Lula Grace Kirk Phillips. She graduated from Freeport High School in 1957. She was born and raised a Methodist. She married Donald Mauderly on March 6, 1971. They were married thirty years before Donald died on October 20, 2001. Myrtle was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed canning and gardening.
Myrtle is survived by a daughter Becky (Jeff) Mauderly Mobley; three grandchildren: Dakota Mobley, Coalton Mobley, and Christopher Mobley; two step-grandchildren: Amanda Mobley and Sharon Mobley; and two step-great-grandchildren: Kaiden Claypool and Brittany Claypool. She is also survived by two sisters: Mable Rummell and Marion Imes; one brother, Roy (Janice) Phillips; three sister-in-laws: Norma Phillips, Dorothy Phillips, and Wilma (Ray) Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, Myrtle was also preceded in death by two brothers: Alfred Phillips and Bryan Phillips Jr.; one sister; Martha Arnold; and three brother-in-laws: Dale Arnold, Roger Rummell, and Ellis Imes.
Private services will be held at a later date.
