Obituary

Mark Allen Campbell, 42, of Port Washington, lost his life to alcohol addiction on June 5, 2023.

He was born on June 7, 1980 in Dennison to the late Glen and Judy (MaHaffey) Campbell. Mark was also preceded by his brother Tony Diploma, father- and mother-in-law Archie and Luella Gardner, brother-in-law Bobby Jacobs, and his aunt, Caroline Reed.

Mark graduated from Garaway High School in 1998 and went to work for various companies over the years doing many different jobs. It was at one of those jobs he met the love of his life, Alison Gardner, to whom he married on October 22, 2005. Even though there was fifteen years between them, you would have never known it. Also surviving is his uncle, Gary Reed, brother- and sister-in-law Archie and Rhonda Gardner, sister-in-law Arlene Jacobs, a niece, nephews, a great niece, great-nephews, and many cousins.

Following Mark's wishes, he was cremated. Calling hours to pay respects to the family will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Koch Funeral Home of Gnadenhutten, 244 N. Walnut Street, 44629. Following visitation, burial of Mark's remains will take place at the Gnadenhutten-Clay Union Cemetery.
