Jeffrey William Stocker, 71, of Gnadenhutten unexpectedly joined his Lord and Savior Saturday morning of May 20, 2023, while at home.

A lifelong resident of the area, Jeff was born at Twin City Hospital on May 14, 1952, to Phyllis J. (Smyth) and William E. Stocker. He attended Gnadenhutten grade school and high school and graduated with the class of 1970 from Indian Valley South. Jeff attended Kent State University at Kent, and then Jeff went to work at Stocker Sand and Gravel where he was a mine foreman. He eventually branched away from there to start Aggregate and Concrete Testing Services, and most recently invested as part owner of SmartWay Communications. With a faithful heart for God and family, Jeff balanced his retirement activities by spending time with his grandchildren, farming, and church activities. Jeff is a member Winfield Community Church, The Ohio Concrete Association, and Ohio Aggregates and Industrial Minerals Association.

Jeff is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Marilyn K. (Roth) Stocker, whom he married on August 4, 1973. Also surviving are his two children: Jace William (Erin) Stocker of Idaho Falls, ID, and Megan Alane (Sean) Lyne of Gnadenhutten; six grandchildren: Ethan, Nicholas, Adam, and Olivia Stocker, and Charlotte and Gemma Lyne; mother, Phyllis Stocker, and siblings: Thomas R. (Tina) Stocker, Bryan A. (Julie) Stocker, and Brynne Ann (John) Sigg.

Preceding in death is Jeff's father, William E. Stocker.

A celebration of life service for Jeff will be held at Winfield Community Church, Saturday, May 27th at 5pm. Memorial condolences may be left for the family at www.kochfhgnaden.com. Memorial contributions may be given to the Indian Valley Foundation and the Tuscarawas Philharmonic.
