Lorie Ann (Morrison) Affolter, 44, of Gnadenhutten, died Sunday morning November 30, 2014 after a long illness. She was born on July 17, 1970 at Twin City Hospital in Dennison, Ohio to her parents Ken and Diane (Stull) Morrison of Gnadenhutten. Lorie graduated from Indian Valley High School in 1989. She was a member of the Gnadenhutten United Methodist Church, she was on the Women’s Bowling League at Alpa Lanes, and was part of the Bunco women’s group.

          Lorie is survived by her husband, Richard Affolter, whom she married on September 17, 1994.

          She is also survived by two daughters: Zhanae and Zyrie Affolter, of Gnaden; a brother Kenny (Melissa) Morrison, of Gnaden; paternal grandfather, Ken Morrison; mother-in-law, Thelma Affolter, of Gnaden; brother-in-law, Joe (Lynnette) Affolter, of Uhrichsville; sister-in-law, Crystal (Kevin) Spencer, of Massillon; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

          Lorie is preceded in death by a daughter, Madison Jean Affolter, paternal grandmother, Jean Morrison, maternal grandparents, Paul and Margret Stull, and father-in-law, Richard Affolter.

            Services for Lorie will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Gnadenhutten United Methodist Church, with Pastor Seth Filburn officiating. Calling hours will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3, at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Koch Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
